The company MSI decided not to dwell on creating laptops class min-PC
MSI Wind, and presented at the exhibition Computex its new device Wind
netbook - compact desktop computer.
MSI Wind netbook placed
into the body type minitower. It is based on a processor Intel Atom
1.6GHz. The device has a 1 GB of RAM, hard disk of 160 GB, drive DVD,
WiFi adapter. The main operating system chosen Windows XP. With the
average quality video playback Wind netbook consumes only 30 watts,
that too little compared to conventional PCs, which for this purpose
consume at least 240 watts.
In computer sales occur no
earlier than September, and will be sold at retail price from 200 to
300 dollars. The device will be available only in Europe and Asia, the
option for the U.S. company has no plans to MSI.
